Due to the absence of Oj I felt compelled to answer this on his behalf. Very good question Aph, but the answer is easily explained. The Moon is made of special material similar to polystyrene but slightly heavier. Its a delicate balance, but most scientists believe that if it was any heavier, it would indeed fall onto Earth and probably wipe out America (but missing Cuba). If it was any lighter, it would float away and get burned up by the sun. Some of the more radical views about the moon include the one that says it was created in a lab in Pennsylvania from a mixture of butter, polyfilla, sawdust and polystyrene and then put into orbit by NASA for a laugh around the year 1640. While this theory seems fine at first (as there are no verified written sightings of The Moon before 1640), it is now discounted by most serious scholars as Pennsylvania didn't exist in 1640. |

Have any of you observed a "Canine Moon-walker"? The answer can be found on old episodes of Star Trek. If you need a hint than just think of "Cling ons."

Well it is the Canine reaction to the minus 26 C cold snap up here. The usual method for a dog to have a crap does not work well when the first bit out freezes and won't let the next bit see the light of day.
