How do you deal with douchebags?

So the question is how do you deal with life when everyone is a douche and you can rely on no one but yourself? Its hard being alone. Case in point: I had one of the most bizzaire situations occur over the past month for a non-relationship. I met a guy named Justin the other month and another guy named Mike. Both I met online, but I didn't meet them at the same time or together in the same way. I just wanted to be friends with Justin (because of a common interest), and Mike I wanted to date (because he seemed older and more mature on the surface). Well after I met them, two weeks ago I found out that Mike was dating Justin and didn't tell me until he wanted to meet. I was okay with that... I didn't have any feelings invested into him. So the other weekend we meet - all of us as a group of friends - for the first time ever in person together (well for me, Justin and Mike had been meeting for a while at this point). After we have dinner together and a few of Mike's other friends, the very next day Mike dumps Justin and says he's dating a girl now. He claims to be bi now, which is okay, but the point is he broke a guy's heart pointlessly just weeks after he started dating him. And he did so no less than after we all went to dinner as friends for the first time. To make matters worse, Mike told both me and Justin WE SHOULD DATE and get together. I like Justin, just not that way, and so I took Justin out last weekend to have fun. Now he thinks I want to marry him and make hot passionate love with him when I was just trying to be nice and friendly after what happened. So... On goes the nonsense and pathetic douchebaginess of our society. Exactly how does one put up with such bullshit when it never changes? I'm 27 now... And I've never had a serious relationship. Its always meeting the same old nonsense and maybe a hookup here and there. Relationships? HA! What relationship? I am not convinced anyone has the capacity for one.

Well I'm not Uncle OJ but my advice is do what I just started doing DON'T HOOKUP hahaha! I want no part in any relationships not for a long while I will just hang with my friends and any maybe flirt a little online but that's it! But yeah I hear your pain, I KNOW what your talking about it!

Equally as much Douchbags, and Stec is right, "Hooking up" Is not worth the drama. I'm pretty burned out on the whole relationship thing. It seems that you just put 110 into something and get burned in the end. Friendships get ruined and you find out all along that you really knew nothing about the person. Live each day making yourself happy, Hanging out with friends who want nothing in return but friendship, And someday you may run into someone who has the same outlook on life and can live the drama free happy ever after. But then again the tooth fairy is real right?

If all three of you were to turn "TRI" yous would become famous for starting a new trend, as well as solving the problem.
