Do to security reasons <embed> codes do not work!

YOUTUBE

If you want to post a Youtube video all you need to do is insert the video url between the FLASH tag like so...

Code:

[flash]Video-url[/flash]

If you want to manually control the size of the video use the following code but change the two sets of numbers in the opening flash code to the size you want but in this case, 250 represents the width of the video in pixels, and 210 represents the height of the video in pixels....

Code:

[flash=250,210]Video-url[/flash]

In my screenshot below the video url is the one circled in red and then note the aspect ratio of the video the numbers where the two red arrows are pointing this determines the size of the video you can keep it the same as the original video size as shown (which is recommended) or you can re-size it to any size you want....

So in this case if I were to post the video in my screenshot and wanted to keep the size the same as on Youtube I would use the following code...

Code:

[flash=560,340]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HluWsMlfj68[/flash]

And the results would look like this...

When making a post you can click on the link that says Full BBCode List that is where you will find the default example flash code amongst other handy dandy codes, simply copy & paste the flash code then overwrite the default video url with the one of the video that you want to share and you can change the size or leave the size at the default it's up to you!

It's best to preview your post before you click on post topic to make sure the video shows up and it's the size you want.

Need anymore help just ask!

MegaVideo

MegaVideo uses a url structure like this when you you're viewing the video on their site - http://www.megavideo.com/?v=RMB8KJY8

However in order to post a video on you board you need to use the URL that is part of their “Embed” code. The Embed code can be found on the right side of the page when you're viewing the video on MegaVideo's site. You don't need any of the other values just the URL. Place it in the flash BBCode tags and you'll be able to post the video. Example:

Code:

[flash]http://www.megavideo.com/v/RMB8KJY8a0dba2c934e15df22ef170b2a72cae63.4406711310.0[/flash]

Result...

Again you can change the size, it's up to you see the first post in this thread for instructions.....

Veoh

Veoh is very similar to Megavideo. To post this video http://www.veoh.com/videos/v70017919aYsqTaq you need to use the “Embed” code found on the bottom right of their video page. Again, leave out the other information and just take the full URL. Place it in the flash BBCode tags and the video will be posted.

Example:

Code:

[flash]http://www.veoh.com/videodetails2.swf?permalinkId=v70017919aYsqTaq&id=anonymous&player=videodetailsembedded&videoAutoPlay=0[/flash]

Result...

Again feel free to change the size see the first post in this thread for instructions.

Dailymotion

For Dailymotion videos, you'll again need the embed link. However rather than just the URL, you'll need to copy the section called “embed src”. It should include a url as well something that looks like “type=“application/x-shockwave-flash”. So to post this video http://www.dailymotion.com/cluster/sport/hd/video/x5173p_valparkfreestylehd_sport follow what is posted in the example.

Code:

[flash]http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/x5173p&v3=1&related=0” type=“application/x-shockwave-flash[/flash]

But wait the default is too small I want BIGGER!

Code:

[flash=600,480]http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/x5173p&v3=1&related=0” type=“application/x-shockwave-flash[/flash]

My result would be...
