Just curious on how many of you seen it and what did u think? Myself, well i actually enjoyed it, was a lot better then previous Star Trek movies and so far on the top 100 grossing movies its number 47 and there has never been a Star Trek movie in the top 100 period. I thought this movie was more entertaining and more action then previous ones. Out of all the Star Trek movies there is 3 i rate as the best; Star Trek: Wrath of Khan, Star Trek: First Contact and Star Trek (2009) ![]() Edited by editsniper, Aug 5 2009, 08:20 PM.

and im not that biased about not having old Star Trek characters, it was great story of going back when Captain Kirk first met Spock, etc. and had them as teenagers and such, i always said to myself and others they need more action and better storyline to re-surrect an aging series and the original ST actors are getting too old, to believe some of the storylines and action scenes. Needed fresh blood and more excitement |

To be honest, I was not expecting to like this movie all that much. But they did an amazing job both with the story line and picking actors that did really do an amazing job of recreating the original characters. I loved it and have watched it several times.

I saw it twice! It was really good and people I know that were not into Trek had to go see it more than once including one who decided to see it the second time on Imax. I will OWN this. And the change to the story (trying not to give too much away to those who haven't yet seen it) will allow them to do anything they want. It was good and well done! |

I certainly cant wait for the next Star Trek film, they say should be out by 2011 or 2012 and they are trying to have J.J. Abrams to direct it again and this was the first time Star Trek has made the most ever and is in the top 50 grossing films |

Look towards 2012 (how weird to write dates that look like that, you putting a 1 in the middle) for the sequel. |

updated info for Star Trek 2 Star Trek 2 Will Be "Very Much About The Villain" The next Star Trek film has ditched the time-traveling plot line, and now writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci have announced that the sequel will revolve around its villain. But who will put this new crew to the test? Now that Paramount has announced the release date for their second Star Trek, set for June 29th, 2012, the tight-lipped Kurtzman and Orci are starting to speak out a bit more. They're still not saying whether Khan turns up in the new film, but at least they're admitting they need a villain who can carry the film Edited by editsniper, Feb 21 2010, 08:50 AM.
