This is my single favourite performance of this seasons American Idol so far! David Cook - The Music of the Night (From Andrew Lloyd Webber's - The Phantom of the Opera) Now it may be because I have seen The Phantom of the Opera live in Toronto at the incredible Pantages Theatre and LOVED IT and it may because I have all the Phantom of the Opera soundtracks and know and love the songs inside & out and it may be becausce David Cook is my fav performer of this season but his version of this song was pure brilliance and I can not get enough of it! SERIOUSLY this guy is a natural born rocker dude he is gifted yet he did this song better than a seasoned Broadway performer THIS GUY IS THE ONE there is no question about it!!!!!

Well dude is okay IMO but one can guess who my favorite Phantom of the Opera singer or group is I give one clue there former lead singer's name starts with a T. Also she is my favorite opera singer. Well I guess I spoiled the guessing. op's.

Some Andrew LLoyd Wwbber songs give me goose bumps when they are sung really well, this guy didn't do that with this song but he is good. I usually only watch the auditions for this and the X factor in Britain because they crease me up so I guess I will read in tha papers who wins lol Stec I think you just find Jason and this guy hot and it wouldn't matter what they sang lol ......... only joking.
