Loyal Member Posts: 277 Group: Retired Staff Member #21 Joined: August 28, 2004	The reason it wont work is because "con" is used to write emtpy files (similar to the touch command in linux) c:\>copy con file.txt you'll then be able to enter text, to finish editing use ctrl+z then hit enter.
