hey, hey everyboday!

A Knight's Tale 9/10

Back in the day I downloaded this movie off the internet, horrible quality and I used to watch ALL the time. Of course I couldn't really see what was going on or what was being said because the quality was so poor. That had to of been at least 4 years ago. Last week I went and bought it and I've been watching every night since, along with a few other movies I'll get to in a bit. Australian Heith Ledger stars in this one. Did anybody know he was Skip in Lords of Dogtown? I didn't even recognize him! Anyway, A Knight's Tale is an amazing rendition of an old sport with some new hip music (queen and lillix) added to some very very witty dialogue. The soundtrack is great, the action sequences are killer and the whole movie rocks...literally. If you haven't seen this one you need to get out of your box and kick some ass in the movie world.

Ella Enchanted 10/10

I can't remember if I ever did this one or not and frankly I'm too lazy to go back and look. Ella Enchanted...Anne Hatheway...mmmmmmm. I LOVE <3 this movie! It's so incredibly amazing. Words can't exactly explain this one except that it just blows me away everytime I see it. It has a hip hop/pop culture thing going on with it that makes it really interesting to watch and the dance numbers are absolutely fantastic! Anne Hatheway since a Queen song? That alone is enough to make me watch this movie over and over again. See this one, it's worth every magical second.

Junior's Giants 5/10

I wasn't exactly sure what to make of this movie the first time I watched it. It's not even a movie, just a short 30 min episode of a series that never happened. I THINK it's a christian based cartoon about a boy learning to control his anger. But the people who made the cartoon I'm pretty sure made adult movies before this little tick. It's totally serious about christianity too, it's just that it totally rips on everything else in the film. It's hard to figure out but if it's 2 in the morning with about 4 drunk guys all bored out of their minds...this movie with make you shit your pants. It's got a nice little dance number in it too, 70s style lol.

Se7en 9/10

Fantastic movie that I finally got around to watching after about a year of yearning. Stars Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman (this right away should clue you in that it's going to be a great movie). A drama/mysterious about a serial killer that is basing his kills upon a poem by this guy that I can't remember his name, i remember it being ingenious though. Keeps you on the edge of the seat as they try to figure out who is the murderer and the climax is quite gut wrenching. All-in-all I'd say it was the next best mystery next to The Usual Suspects. not to mention it has kevin spacey in it as well, man he plays a great serial killer. Sorry if I ruined it but i really don't think i did.

House of D 6/10

Robin Williams and David Duchovney stars in this little gem. I will admit right off the bat though that I didn't finish as I fell asleep and never got around to finishing it before I had to return it. The kid actor though that plays the younger David Duchovney is absolutely terrific. He really makes the movie worthwhile. In fact if i remember correctly I fell asleep as soon as it went back to normal aged duchovney. he's really quite funny and amazing to watch. it's weird that robin williams plays a retarded guy though, barely even recognized him. not to take away that he's really good of course. robin williams plays an awesome retarded guy lol. anyway it was a great movie though and a nice little drama.

well that's it for now i guess. i haven't really watched as many movies as i would like lately since i've been so incredibly focused on the school play right now. but i'll get around it eventually hehe

Hello all again. It's 3 in the morning and I'm feeling up and perky for some movie reviews. Wonderful is it not? Now let's get started!

Annapolis 8/10
It's weird watching James Franco without thinking, "Hey where's spidey?" but what do you do? Great, great flick. For some odd reason I was in the mood for a military type movie this afternoon and I got a piece of the pie. It's more of a boxing movie than anything, which interested me. I wasn't expecting a boxing movie, I was expecting more of a men of honor type movie, but it delivered all the same. There's a bit of romance here and there and Tyrese Gibson is f'ing cool, so it's a well rounded movie. You could really tell Franco did a lot of hard work and training to complete this film because he starts out kinda scrawny and really packs on the weight later on. Muscle weight that is. Let's see, downsides. It wasn't your typical military movie. I wanted to see some shit maybe blown up, I was dissapointed. I don't think a single gun is shot once in the whole movie, I might be wrong. Point being, don't watch if you want high intense action. If that's the case, go get the platoon!

John Tucker Must Die 9/10
I've been seeing a lot of really great movies lately. Which has been nice since last year and the year before sucked. I wathced like 5 really great movies in a row in the past 2 weeks. Them being: Dead Man's Chest, You, Me and Dupree, Superman Returns, John Tucker Must Die and Clerks II. Whatever Hollywood has been doing lately, it's been right.
John Tucker was your typical teen movie. But it was good! Damn good! The plot was actually interesting! I know! John Tucker had a great part, throughout the movie you don't what side he's playing and you're trying to figure him out just as much as the girls in the movie. Nothing better than a movie where I keep guessing as to whats going to happen next. So! It was funny, entertaining, hot people, and actually had a good storyline. Why not a 10 out of 10? I didn't like the relationship between the younger tucker and the main girl. Something about it just wasn't right for me. Maybe you'll see it too.

V for Vendetta
8/10
Another great film! I'm going to have to do a crappy movie here in a bit because I'm becoming really optimistic here and that's just not cool.
Really really interesting movie. Set in the future, based off the comic book! Or should I say graphic literature (Colbert Report). Natalie Portman, I'll watch anything that she's in. Her alone made the movie for me because she is f'ing hot. Ha, for you ladies...sorry no good lookin guy for you. Even the love interest turns out to be gay. I think he was a love interest, I'll be honest I didn't catch that part real well. Anyway. Visuals were great! Some awesome explosions and I am man who enjoys his explosions. V was a very good character! A man of charisma according to the back of the box and man...he had charisma! Perfect rendition! The characters were all wonderful really. There's even a few matrix-type scenes that are really eye appealing. Knife work is cool. I give it a few thumbs up. Though I'm sorry to say I wouldn't watch it again. One of those types. Watch it once.

Army of Darkness
7/10
Wait! I loved this movie! What am I doing? Oh well.
Bruce Campbell! This satyr was perfect! A cult classic. Sequel to the Evil Dead and possibly the Evil Dead II, I haven't done my research. Actually I believe the technical title for this film is called Bruce Campbell vs The Army of Darkness, which I thought was really interesting.
Ok. This movie is a joke! It's hard to believe maybe, but it's really just a mock horror film! The people I watched this with the other day didn't believe, they just thought the movie was bad. And yes! It is bad! But that's the point! It is sooo bad! That's why it's good! It's amazing! It's perfect! I grew up with this movie, so I've seen it like a dozen or more times and it just never gets old! The dialogue is terrible, the one-liners are terrible, the effects are terrible, the continuity is terrible. Shit. They have him on a cord in one of the scenes for to be flying through the air (towards the beginning) and it's soooo obvious! But it retains something that all good movies retain...and that's the fact that it keeps you on the edge of your seat guessing as to what happens next. Just something about it that makes you crack up, makes you gut bust, makes you snort your coke through your nose (which hurts like a motherfucker), you know what I"m saying? This movie is funny! Extremely stupid, but trust me, you get over it a third of the way through.

bad movie bad movie bad movie bad movie bad movie....

Confessions of Teenage Drama Queen
1/10
What the fuck was Lindsay Lohan doing in this movie?! Oh my god. This is one of the few movies I have actually turned off before it was halfway over. It was soooooo cheesy. Whoever wrote the script for this movie should be burned at the stake. Maybe it was the random rainbow happy music scene, maybe it was Lohan's lame speeches that she gave every 10 minutes, maybe it was the fact that it was the corniest movie ever made, SOMETHING about this movie made me want to gag. And you know, normally I'm okay with really girly cheesy movies. I mean hell, I loved Ice Princess. I went out and bought that one. Mean Girls was the shit. But Confessions of Teenage Drama Queen...just oh my god. Imagine getting a blender and filling it up with old pizza, out-dated milk, jalapenos, semen and some tabasco sauce and turn it on to "chop". What you get out of that blender is the equivilent to what that movie is. Pure crap. And if I drank/watched it? I wanted to blow some chunks. I'm serious. This movie is that bad. I know somebody that finished it, they said it was the worse hour and a half of their life. You don't get that hour and half back. You don't! Please, for God's sake and mine, don't waste your time with this filthy wretched piece of blenderized crap!

ok well it's been a half hour, nearly 3:30 now. I should drive back home. Last night I hit a deer, that sucked ass. I didn't really hit it, I clipped it ya know? And I didn't swerve! I never swerve! I slammed on the brakes and coasted over to the other lane, calmly. But I was going about 45 and that thing jumped into the lane I coasted into and WHAM! I smoked the side of its head and it went down like a bag of cement. Boom Down. I felt bad, I really did. I've never killed a living creature before and the thing was, it wasn't quite dead yet either. So being the guy that I am, I grabbed a towel, dragged the deer off the road and into the ditch and kinda sat there with it until it finally died. It took about 20 minutes. It was like the longest 20 minutes of my life watching it struggling to breathe, than going into spasms and than choaking on its own froth and mucus than finally going completely still. It's kinda sickening to hear about it, but that's what I went through. It was crazy/emotional/dramatic. It died with its head up in the air, gasping for breath. Sad really. I didn't cry though, I was strong. So anyway, that was my night last night. Kind of the wrong section but my eyes are blurry and so is my head. So I hope all of you go out and watch some really good movies! Bye now
